Part one: How to set the basic record parameters

This part is the most basic step of record setting.

Step 1: Open PCHand Screen Recorder, Click ‘Audio’.

 Step 2: Click ‘Volume Control’ to start the setting and this window will pop-up.

Step 4: Select the ‘Stereo Mix’ option, and then click ‘OK’; you will find that it will display in the Recording Control.

Part two: How to record the audio from PC.

Step 1: Do the steps 1-4 of part one.

Step 2: Select ‘CD Volume’, ‘Mic Volume’ and ‘Line Volume’ options at the same time as following, then you can record any audio from your PC.

Part three: How to record the audio from Microphone.

Step 1: Do the steps 1-4 of part one.

Step 2: Select ‘CD Volume’, ‘Line Volume’ and ‘Stereo Mix’ options at the same time as following, then you can record the sound of the speakers from your microphone.

Part four: How to record both.

Step 1: Do the steps 1-4 of part one.

Step 2: Select ‘CD Volume’ and ‘Mic Volume’ options at the same time as following, then you can record the audio both from PC and Microphone.

 Now, let’s check out how to capture any part of the screen.

Step 1: Open file

Open the image that you want to capture the specific part of it.

Step 2: Download and install PCHand Screen Capture

Click here to download it. After the download is finished, click screencapture_setup.exe file and follow the instruction to complete the installation. Without minimizing the image you want to intercept, run PCHand Screen Capture.

Step 3: Select capture profile

Select the ‘Freehand’ as your default capture mode in the Capture Profiles.

Step 4: Set other output parameters

After select the capture profile, you can hit the list bar to set the output mode, add some effects. And the click ‘Capture’ button and move the cross cursor to start the interception.

Step 5: Take the part as your wish

Choose a proper place to start the capture, and then left-click it along the edge of the specific part that you want to capture. When the specific part is surrounded by a black line, double-click the left mouse to complete the intercept.

Step 6: Save the captured image

When completed the capture, the screenshot is sent to the output mode.

Step 2: Click “OK” and add successfully.

Step 1: Click ”  ” -> “Organize Profiles” or Click ”  ”.

Step 2: Without minimizing, open PCHand Screen Capture.
Step 3: Select the “Scrolling Window ” in Capture Profiles.

Step 4: Click  and move the cursor to select the long Scrolling Window you want to capture. The selected area is highlighted with red border.

Step 5: Left-click the select area of the window to start capturing. Just wait a second! The window scrolls automatically.

Step 6: When completed, the capture is sent to the Editor. You could optimize the images with various effects if needed.

Step 7: Save the image and done. Easy and exactly the same, right?

Tip:

In the previous article I said I don’t really like web-based screen recorders, because they limit your recording time plus they worked slower for me giving worse quality. But it is free and could help you complete some recording.
